Nut & bolt restoration of a Strand Electric PATT 23 MKII. Stripped of paint, cleaned, professionally polished and expertly rewired for home/office use. All our lights are pat tested & given their stickers. Complete with it's 4 original adjustable shutters.
All parts are original other than the wiring, screws and lamp holder. There are no dents and the convex lens has no chips/cracks. Original tightening bolt is still in place for its 2 extending nose front. This adjusts the spread of light. Light fitting is an E27 CE Edison to take a standard screw thread bulb.

The light has been superbly engineered, and features a die cast ventilated body, 360 degree rotation, Iconic circular design and an internal reflector. Originally designed in Covent Garden, London at the Strand headquarters in the 1950s.
Bespoke Industrial vintage retro lamp Strand pattern No 45 Theatre Stage lamp. TV lighting spot light with metal stand. It has been adapted and had a metal stand fixed to the light. The stand is slightly a different colour and rather rustic.
The lamp has quite a few knocks and dings on but these add to the charachter. The lamp is great for being over 60 year old. H52cm x W16cm x D28cm. Vintage original un restored Strand Pat 23 theatre lights. These lights were removed from the renowned Camden Palace around 20 years ago. The lights have not been used for many years and require full restoration and rewiring but will look fabulous once restored and have a great provenance. For sale we have fully restored & polished to a mirror finish a British made Strand Electric PATT 23 MKI Theatre Spotlights in fabulous condition. These Spotlight of aluminium alloy was introduced by Strand Electric in 1953. Lamp Dims: 10.50"W x 12"D, 14" with its nose extended x 9.25"H, 14.25 with its Yoke Bracket.
