The story of this lamp. This magnificent piece is originated from the 60's and we bought it from a theatre in Hungary that is just being renovated. These fixtures were manufactured by the former Hungarian company Filmtechnika and were mostly used in studios for movie shooting but there were many of them in use in theaters all around Europe. Lovely vintage theatre light finished in gun metal grey metallic paint, refurbished and rewired with an energy efficient led bulb (much safer than original 500 watt bulb). Sits on a lovely vintage style tripod which adjusts in height. These lights are approx 70 years old so will obviously have a few age related marks and scratches (max height 1.73 metres).
