Genuine Vintage 40s/50s Period Piece. FURSE & TRIPOD Stage Theater Spot Light Lamp. Circa late 1940's, mid 1950's. The mounted theater lamp is a Furse made in Nottingham, England. The lamp & been completely surface stripped to a burnished metal finish & then lacquered to seal. It has some original black satin finished parts & come with original glass ring lens. The internal light fitting has been converted to a standard UK bayonet bulb & has also been re-wired with a vintage style three core cloth covered twisted cable & red plug. The spot slide function remains intact to allow for light adjustment. The wooden tripod is vintage & has been cleaned, waxed & had a leg chains fitted. Wonderful honey colour to the wooden legs with one or two minor surface scuffs/scratches. All adding to it's superb vintage charm & character & just as you would expect from a genuine vintage period piece. Overall in superb display & usable condition.
