Francis Search light/spot light on custom made tripod Ex MOD Brass Search Industrial look LED light. Individual Francis brass search light from the turret of a British Crusader Battle Tank. Finished in original military green paint. The light has been cleaned and reassembled, the original bulb has been removed and replaced with a warm white LED to make it more energy efficient and a nicer light level for interior use. These lamp still has the original working mirror reflector so the light can still be focused or diffused depending on your preference.

The light is mounted on a custom made steel tripod, made by ourselves in our own furniture and lighting workshop. The tripod has been made to allow the original tilt mechanism to still be functional to position the lamp, the stand is finished in satin black and measures 130cm to the bottom of the light mount bracket. The light then measures 40cm on top of that giving the light a general height of 170cm. The case of the search light has a Diameter of 24cm and a depth of 25cm (including the thumb screws on the front and handle on the back). The light does have some small dents from its life in'active service' but these add to its authenticity. The light has been completely rewired with new plug, new black braided cable, bulb holder and of course bulb. The search light and stand can be collected from our workshop just outside Kendal.
